The Meta Prayer and call for balance. Reflections during the time of Mabon 2019

I realize most of our society is entangled in this web of constant consumerism. However; if we might begin with moderation.
If we might consider sharing more of what we have, rather than scraping it down our garbage disposals or even the compost, we begin a different chain reaction of right relationship, beginning with ourselves. 
Let us look at our own spending, how we spend, what we spend it on.

Can we walk or bike rather than drive 5 blocks away? Can we turn off all our electrical devices other than what we are using st the present moment? 

Can we hold free clothing exchanges, or clothing exchanges that fund global awareness? 

Can we nurture ourselves with clean water,( while we have it), organic garden fresh food? Can we participate in more CSA's such as Willits Adventist hospital has a seasonal community garden?

I am grateful for the use of modern technology, however; let me use this also more wisely. 

The difficulties we face on our tiny planet do not stem from one group of “evil” people. These difficulties come from a larger group of unconscious individuals. Humans, in general, have become extremely distracted.
For one reason or another, we have become so distracted. Over the course of centuries, we, slowly, have forgotten our true human potential. 

Racing from one event to another, we push past the greatness of stillness and positive contemplation. 

Our ancestors once began their days and ended their days with praise, gratitude, and prayer for others. 

I cannot afford to overlook the gifts which are my birth rite. 

These gifts of compassion, forgiveness, generosity and thanksgiving. 

As the Meta prayer states:

May your days grow in spirit; based upon these actions May our walk be that of remembering our responsibilities to spirit and this precious gift of life. 

Whether we meet at actions such as Standing Rock or Climate Strikes, The Noble Order of Tara Priory of The Noble Sword of Truth is Committed to to protect the each other and the earth, sun, stars and space all around us.

Let us return to this knowing. It is the prime directive.

Our planet is sending us a huge message. Begin with love

Begin with Loving Yourself by practicing your power of intention.

Heal yourself,
Nurture Yourself, Love Yourself and thereby you will come to truly love others.
